Fo many of us, life is so full of responsibilities that keep us bound to the needs of others. Overwhelming and demanding jobs, parenting, caring for aging parents, social and personal commitments that feel more like obligation than pleasure…we get it!

This Family Day & Valentine’s Weekend, take a step back from the chaos, the commitments and the busy-ness of life by investing in yourself with this 2 or 3 night retreat. Your time away at the sacred Sugar Ridge will be an opportunity to take care of your own needs with:

  • workshops and conversations designed to introduce and reinforce self-care/self-love strategies and practices;
  • mindful movement and breath practices to balance energy in your physical body;
  • guided meditations to calibrate the nervous system and calm the mind;
  • nourishing vegan meals to satisfy your belly and your soul;
  • nature bathing to re-connect with Gaia’s (Mother Nature) vitality
  • connecting in community with others who are prioritizing wellness and self-compassion

 

Join Mindfulness and Movement Educator Jenny Jackson, who has more than 20 years of experience in leading others in modalities such as yoga, strength training & fitness, meditation and energy healing. Jenny shares her wisdom and teachings in inclusive and welcoming ways which support all levels and abilities of those she guides. All are welcome at this retreat regardless of experience, injury or unique needs.

Jenny Jackson

Jenny Jackson has been immersed in Movement Education for more than 20 years. Jenny is a seeker of inner well-being, and she consciously aligns herself living with an open mind, an open heart and embodies joy & vitality which is reflected in her welcoming & inclusive style of instruction. She teaches with a strong anatomical influence while still deeply honouring the classical roots of yoga. Jenny believes that feeling vital and in harmony with others & within our own selves is the primary goal (in life and in our bodies), and practice should reflect this.

$645 + HST semi-private accommodation – 2 people share a room

$825 + HST private accommodation – private room all to yourself
