Weekend Yoga Exploration

Explore different types of Yoga and the philosophy behind it.  Appreciate this profound and ancient practice designed to bring unity to body, mind, and spirit. Originating thousands of years ago, Yoga has a systematic approach rooted in tradition, with each movement and breath working together to purify and strengthen your whole being.

Develop your understanding of the concept of Tristhana, or the three places of attention: breath, posture, and gaze (drishti).  This flows into everyday life, not just the practice on your mat.

This weekend will help you understand how Yoga is designed to detoxify, build strength, and improve flexibility.

Whether you’re new to Yoga or looking to deepen your practice, this retreat offers a balanced exploration of this timeless tradition. Expect time to practice postures, learn philosophy, have time for self-reflection, and physical renewal.  Be guided towards peace, clarity, and vitality in all that you do.

This retreat can deepen your appreciation and understanding of Yoga in a gentle and supportive way.  As a beginner you will learn key concepts and poses without feeling overwhelmed.  As an advanced practitioner, you can receive the guidance you need to take your practice further.
